About Adaliza ...

Adaliza was my great-grandmother and a skilled needlewoman. I needed a special name for my textile business, so I named it after her. 

My patchwork designs are modern and contemporary. My inspiration is taken from the seaside and countryside in southern England and also wild west Wales, where my roots are firmly planted in the farming traditions of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.  

I am a qualified teacher with a Master of Arts degree from Southampton University.  I regularly hold workshops, demonstrations and give presentations about my quilts to Quilt Guilds, WI groups and Literary Festivals throughout the south of England.

Textiles are my hobby and my passion ...
